I began my insurance career in 1989 at Valentine Insurance Agency immediately after graduating from Augustana College with  bachelor’s degrees in both Business and English.  Previously working with my cousin and father, I now head up the agency, our family business which has continued to grow since its beginning in 1966.

As an independent agent I am licensed in all lines of insurance, and have served on the agents advisory boards for several companies, and received numerous awards for excellence in the insurance industry.

 

I take a personal approach to insurance.  My goal is to treat everyone with respect, honesty and kindness.  My priority is to see that customers are insured properly at a fair price and have the peace of mind knowing that they are working with an agency that cares.

I have been married to my wife, Lynn, for 22 years.  We have two sons and are life-long residents of Wheaton, IL.  I enjoy coaching, scuba diving, fishing, and traveling.  I am a member of the Wheaton Evangelical Free Church and a close friend and supporter of the Larkin Center for Children.
